CRAFT with PURPOSE
My approach to each project is always to figure out the why before assigning a how. You’ll find the strategy portion of projects to be thorough and completely necessary for a successful project. I’ll ask a lot of questions to get the wheels turning before jumping into design. This strategy first approach ensures we’re never making “just a logo” or “just a website” but approaching our project with an eye towards attracting your people and converting them to customers. My end goal is always to make something beautiful that also works really well and lasts a long time.
I consider our work together a partnership in taking your business to the next level. Design is an investment in bettering your brand, and I take my role in supporting you seriously. It should be an exciting and energizing process! Whenever I say we, I mean you and me. We’re in this together.

HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?
At the beginning of every project I provide a timeline with check-in points where specific milestones are hit in the project (content delivered, site review, etc). Branding projects typically take 4–6 weeks, and website 6–10 weeks depending on the scope. Sometimes life happens and you or I will fall a little behind. I try to remain flexible about our schedule but do my very best to stick to our agreed upon timeline and hope you will too. If you're looking for a quick turnaround on a smaller project, I suggest checking out my Designer Day offering.
WHEN CAN WE START?
While I wish I could start each project as soon as it hits my inbox, that isn't often the case. The studio is typically booked 2-3 months in advance and each project follows a predetermined schedule. I limit the numbers of clients I take on at any given time to be sure that each project is given the time and attention it deserves and I can be sure to deliver a high quality product. If you have a more immediate need, or smaller project, I may suggest booking a Designer Day where we have a single focused day to complete your project.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO WORK WITH YOU?
Every project is different, so I always like to discuss the goals and your specific needs on an intro call before providing an estimate. After our chat I'll put together a custom proposal that outlines a scope and budget. Most projects fall between $3-12k. I know that range seems huge but the needs from project to project vary and I price accordingly so you're always paying for just what you need. Design is an investment and I always want to make that the investment worthwhile for my clients. My goal is to make the process and deliverables easy and effective so when our work is completed you can grow your business and meet your big goals.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! Most projects begin with an initial deposit, followed by invoices that are sent at predetermined dates established before the project begins. All invoices may be paid by check or online with a credit card or via Paypal. If you want to set up a different payment plan for your project just let me know and we can discuss a payment structure that works for both of us.
WHICH WEB PLATFORMS DO YOU WORK WITH?
Deciding what platform we build on is all about getting you the functionality you need.
I encourage my service based small business clients to use Squarespace primarily for ease of use and growth potential. The platform is user-friendly and ideal for handing over to anyone who wants to quickly and easily make updates to their site without needing a designer on-call.
If you're a product based business I recommend Shopify for it's focus on e-commerce and control over POS. Shopify is hyper-focused on giving you tools to create an effective online store, so if selling online in an attractive way is the goal, we'll likely head this direction.
No matter which platform we build on, I want you to feel like you have control over your site when we've completed your project so you can continue to present yourself beautifully to your audience.

Yes! Every website project includes a 60 minute 1:1 training session where we walk through how to update and maintain your site going forward. Our virtual session is recorded and sent to you afterwards so you can return to it as needed.
